About Us
The scientific research center of phytotherapy and apitherapy was established based on the decision No. 06 of the Scientific Council of Nakhchivan State University dated February 27, 2020 and the rector's order No. 3/11.
OUR PURPOSE
Our laboratory equipped with modern technologies and equipment operates under the Chair of Basic Medical Sciences. At present, the biochemical composition of useful plants, the botanical origin of bee products are investigated by professional young researchers and teaching staff in the laboratory, food supplements and cosmetology products are prepared from natural raw materials. In addition, scientific and practical research is carried out in accordance with the training and curriculum together with undergraduate and master's level students.

Our goals
Under the slogan of healthy food, healthy future, natural raw materials will be explored in promising directions. Bioactive substances of plant and animal products will be studied, food supplements and cosmetology tools will be analyzed on scientific and practical basis. Also, assistance will always be provided to master's and doctoral candidates to carry out their scientific research work.
OUR DUTIES
• Organizing international and national conferences, symposia, seminars, trainings;
• Carrying out scientific research works and projects;
• Reports, booklets, articles, bulletins, books, etc. to prepare;
• To cooperate with universities and scientific-research centers located inside and outside the country;
• To ensure that the applications and inquiries received in the areas of activity are considered in accordance with the legislation;
• To ensure the implementation of the strategic development plan of the university within its powers; • Prepare reports on the center's work plan and activities;
