The student dormitory of Nakhchivan State University was commissioned in 1977. During the past period, the dormitory was renovated only once, in 1997. The Student House was fundamentally reconstructed, repaired, and an additional building was built and put into use on February 28, 2011. The Student House is designed for 462 students in the form of 2 buildings. 200 places are for girls and 262 places for boys. Rooms are for 2 or 3 people. More than 40 foreign students from Turkey, Iran, Egypt, South Korea, Nigeria, Bangladesh and other countries live in the Student House. In the basement of the Student House, there are separate tennis, chess, bath and laundry rooms for both girls and boys, storage, security service, locksmith, household service, etc. such rooms have been prepared. On the first floor, in the sections for boys and girls, there is an electronic board room and TV-recreation rooms for preparing for the lesson. For heating the Student House, a boiler house was installed according to modern requirements. Each floor has a kitchen for boys and girls. On the first floor of the Student House, where the boys live, there are rooms for preparation for classes and rest rooms, as well as rooms for the medical station, commandant, accountant, household manager, dormitory self-management commission, student council. For water supply of the Student House, a 100-ton water tank and a transformer for providing electricity are installed in its rear part. the arches are equipped with the most modern bed furniture, wardrobes and computer desks for each student. Heating, gas, electricity, telephone and internet (Wi-Fi) lines have been laid to the Student House. Around the Student House, a green strip has been created for students to relax and rest areas for them to spend their free time effectively.
