5.1. In order to promote the Bologna process in higher education institutions, organize teaching with the credit system, apply the ECTS system and provide assistance to students, the service of academic advisors (tutors) is organized in higher education institutions and ANAS. 5.2. Tutors are selected from among highly educated persons with certain experience and competence in this field. 5.3. The tutor is appointed to this position by order of the rector. 5.4. Tutors: 5.4.1. they protect the rights and academic interests of students; 5.4.2. provide students with all the necessary information and documents related to the organization of the educational process; 5.4.3. they give advice to students for drawing up their individual study plans; 5.4.4. during the period specified in subsection 3.3.1 of these Rules, they organize the acceptance of individual study plans of students and participate in the preparation of annual work study plans for specialties (specializations); 5.4.5. they help students to make changes in their individual study plans; 5.4.6. they participate in the organization of the summer semester.
